About Us

The Daisy Fund is dedicated to the memory of Daisy L. (O’Donnell) Evitts.

Daisy battled cancer of the liver and bile duct throughout 1999, until she lost her battle in December of that same year. During her battle, Daisy, her husband Harry and the rest of the family were given tremendous support from the community.

Daisy’s family wanted to give back to the community that supported them and in 2008 founded The Daisy Fund. Daisy and Harry always set an example of how to know and experience real joy. Jesus first, others second, yourself last.

Funds raised go directly back to helping others. While The Daisy Fund has helped families out of state, we pride ourselves in keeping our money local. The majority of money is dispersed in the following Pennsylvania counties: Franklin, Fulton, Huntingdon, Mifflin, Juniata, Perry, Cumberland, Adams, York, Dauphin, Lancaster and Lebanon.
